Mr. RAYMOND FUNG

PROFILE      

 Raymond Fung is the Founder of the International Self Reliance Foundation, the International Friendship Chamber of Commerce and DMMI Group, an organization that has been doing business with China for over twelve years.  Under Mr. Fung’s leadership, DMMI has facilitated numerous partnerships between American, Latin American and Chinese businesses.  However, his true value is in creating lasting relationships between individuals of different backgrounds.

 Mr. Fung’s education includes schools and colleges in his native city of Hong Kong as well as executive trainings in the United States.  Mr. Fung started DMMI Inc. after discovering there are many private companies, public agencies and individual entrepreneurs who need his expertise.  Mr. Fung is able to supply his clients with concise and perceptive information on the businesses, economic and political climate of China.

 Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, he is also familiar with the various travel, living and cultural conditions of most of China.  He has done business and has created relationships with prominent individuals in private and public sectors of the majority of provinces, cities and districts in China (Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Harbin, Heilongjiang, Tianjin, Shenyang, Xi’an, Wuhan and Shangdong Provinces).

 Mr. Fung has been involved in export/import, joint ventures and trade missions and conferences including:

o        Acted as the marketing outreach for California Manufacturing Technology Center (CMTC) with 20 million dollars funding from federal fundings.

o        Waster Water Treatment seminar for Chinese Government Officials with West Basin Water District and Metropolitan Water District of California

o        Electronics, garments, food products, liquor, machinery, ornamental and craft merchandise and Environmental friendly products

o        Energy and environmental projects, agricultural exchanges, education, culinary and art festivals

o        Trade Mission for Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano

o        Trade Missions for the Department of Commerce Representative Bobby Hines

o        Trade Missions for the California Energy Commission including International Seminar here in the United States

o        Numerous Trade Missions for entrepreneurs and Government Representatives of the United States and China

o        International business and Trade conferences under the auspice of Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano  

Mr. Fung is the Co-chair of the International Trade of Committee of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and numerous other Chambers and Committees.
